PASS Series Heads to North Wilkesboro on Labor Day Weekend
Wytheville, VA(November 17, 2009) -- RACE22.com has learned that the PASS South Series will be the second series to announce a date at the famed North Wilkesboro Speedway for 2010.
The PASS(Pro All Stars Series) will head to Wilkes County, NC to the North Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday, September 4, 2010, which is Labor Day weekend. PASS will reportedly stage a 200-lap, $6,000 to win race with an optional practice on Friday, September 3rd.
The USARacing Pro Cup Series had previously announced a date at North Wilkesboro on Sunday, October 3rd making the PASS series the first date currently on the schedule for 2010 on the 0.625-mile that has sat dormant since 1996. The track is being reopened by a group of investors from the Wilkes County area including the late Benny Parsons widow, Terri.
