Forest City, NC ~ Jamie Yelton has certainly proven through the last couple of seasons that he could drive, but this year he and his "Forest City Bad Boys" team proved even more after putting together a rental car program and running up front.

First Paddy "The Missle" Rodenbeck piloted the car in the majority of the UARA-STARS Late Model Stock Car Series schedule, qualifying up front every week, but not getting the top five finishes due to getting involved in crashes. After Rodenbeck split with the team, Yelton got Matt DiBenedetto to pilot the car in the Bailey's 300 at Martinsville Speedway with DiBenedetto grabbing a seventh place finish coming across the line spinning around.

UARA-STARS rookie, Thomas Hartensveld then jumped behind the wheel for the final two UARA races as well as the Fall Brawl 250 at Hickory Motor Speedway, a non-UARA sanctioned Late Model race. Hartensveld, who had struggled all season to get inside the top ten only twice, qualified 6th, 6th and 8th in his three starts in the Yelton Motorsports car. Unfortunately his finishes weren't that good as he did not finish after being involved in crashes in all three races while racing inside the top ten.

While Yelton is still seeking a full-time driver for the rental program for next year, Clay Greenfield of Clarksville, TN, who had a trying season on the UARA tour this year will climb into the drivers seat for the Seneca 400 at Myrtle Beach Speedway on Sunday, November 23rd.

Greenfield, who has driven for his own family owned Clay Greenfield Motorsports team for the last couple of seasons is excited about the opportunity to drive Yelton's second car.

"It's obviously a really good car, there has been several drivers in the car this season and all of them have had good runs. I need a good run after the season and the luck we've had this year and this will be a good car to get in and try to turn my luck around," said Greenfield.

Hopefully for Greenfield this will be just the move he needs to get a good run in before all the racing in Late Model Stock Cars is done and certainly for Yelton it's going to be good to have another quality driver climb behind the wheel of his car for one of the biggest races of the year.
