feature of the day.
Due to an invert of the top six from race number one, Swaim once again found himself starting in row number three this time on the inside in the fifth position. The car was very fast for Swaim but after having worked his way from fifth up into the second position once again he found himself without sufficient time to mount a real challenge for the win.
"If we could have had a caution at the end we would have had a good shot at the win but by the time I got to second the leader was just too far ahead of us," said Swaim. "It's really frustrating to have to start fifth or sixth because of a track rule when the race is only 75-laps, but you have to play the hand that your dealt."
Swaim who is supported by Mercer Race Car Engineering, Pistone LTO Chassis, Clark's Automotive and WP Racing Shocks will be making one of many appearances at the Hickory Motor Speedway either this weekend or next weekend with his home track, Caraway, being on a three week break from Late Model Stock competition.
