Weekend Wrap Up -- September 5, 2009

Welcome to the new Weekend Wrap-Up Section where we're going to try and keep you up to date on all the things happening over the weekend of racing in Late Model Stock Cars and occasionally maybe a little Super Late Models, Pro Late Models and you never know when you might see a Modified or a Mini Stock or hey, just about anything that turns left on our regions short tracks.

Caraway Speedway:
Jason York leads flag to flag at Caraway Speedway for this third win of the 2009 season according to our sources, we will update if there are any discrepancies. 2009 Track Champion in the LMSC division, Travis Swaim fished second with Ryan Wilson and brad Brinkley completing the top four finishers.
Concord Speedway:
According to Speed51.com, Clay Rogers has won at his home track in the first of the championship series races in the USARacing Pro Cup Series. Drew Herring, Brandon Ward, JP Morgan, Jeff Agnew complete the top five finishers

Greenville Pickens Speedway:

Hickory Motor Speedway:
Dexter Canipe, Jr. took home his first win of the season at Hickory Motor Speedway and his eighth of the season including his seven wins at Tri-County. 13-time winner, Andy Mercer had to settle for second with Grant Wimbish third.
Mercer recovers to win the second twin 50-lap race with Canipe finishing second and Josh Wimbish third.

Langley Speedway:
CE Falk continued his domination of Langley Speedway winning the first of twin races tonight after winning both twin races last Saturday night. Danny Edwards and Mark Wertz complete the top three.
Paul Debolt took home the win in race number two at Langley Speedway ... more to come!

Lonesome Pine Raceway:
Wayne Hale took home the victory at LPR with Nate Monteith in tow finishing second. More to come ...
Motor Mile Speedway:
Off ... Season Finale next Saturday night, September 12th with a two point seperation for the championship between Philip Morris and Frank Deiny, Jr. RACE22.com will have compelte flag to flag coverage through our "At the Track" coverage next Saturday night.

Orange County Speedway:
No Racing tonight ...
South Boston Speedway:
Justin Johnson took home the win at South Boston Speedway and after coming in eight points out of the lead for the championship, he and his FDJ Motorsports team took the title home as well. The leader coming in, David Quakenbush tried to make a late race run to keep Johnson from winning the title, but came up short.
Deac McCaskill, Josh Oakley, Dustin Storm and last weeks winner, Bruce Anderson complete the top five finishers. Quakenbush was sixth.
