Hudson, NC(April 10, 2010) -- After last week's action packed race that resulted in a lot of name calling, bruised egos and fierce rivals everyone was curious to see what would happen on this chilly spring night in Hudson, NC.

Last week Kevin Leicht was running second in the race when he and Travis Swaim got together ending Kevin's night and after that his, brother Matt, who had dominated the race would seemingly finish his business for him. Matt Leicht and Swaim would get together on a green, white, checkered finish and Swaim's car would be tore up with Grant Wimbish slipping by to pick up the checkered flag for his first career win.

That led everyone to believe that this week was going to be exciting, but Swaim wouldn't be back and only eleven cars would start the race. Of those 11-cars taking the green flag for the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car 50-lap feature it included two UARA drivers Ty Dillon and Garrett Campbell looking to find their grove around this 4/10mile multi-grove race track before next week's UARA 150 lapper.

Grant Wimbish was looking to pick up where he left off by grabbing this week's pole after his first career victory last week. Following Wimbish to the green flag would be Jason Romero, Matt Leicht, Kevin Leicht and Ty Dillon. As the flag drops it doesn't take Wimbish long to pull out front and flex his muscle leaving Romero to battle it out with Matt Leicht. Leicht would win that battle and take over 2nd place but not without many challenges from Romeo and Ty Dillon.

The laps were wearing down and Wimbish wasn't letting up as he had a full straightaway lead over Leicht but the real battle was starting to heat up as Ty Dillon was trying everything he could to work around Romero and try to reel in Leicht. You have heard the saying in a different zip code but I don't think that's fitting for the knockout punch Wimbish delivered this week.

Wimbish would cruise to his second straight victory followed by Matt Leicht who expressed his displeasure with last week's events during his interview, Revolution Racing's Jason Romero who had some help from National Champion Dexter Canipe Sr., Ty Dillon, and Tyler Brown making it two top five's in 2 races.

Everyone will have a week off to figure out how they can avoid a three-peat for Wimbish as the UARA-Stars invade Tri-County Motor Speedway Friday night.
