Rock Hill, SC(March 1, 2010) -- Wesley Page, owner of WP Racing Shocks has spent a lot of time around the UARA-STARS Late Model Stock Car touring series over the last eight years since it's inception in 2002.

From being the championship winning crew chief, of inaugural champion, Danny O'Quinn, Jr. to winning championships as a shock builder more recently with Ross Furr in 2007 and Jake Crum in 2008. The record books won't show it, but WP Racing Shocks has won more races than any other shocks in the UARA-STARS Series eight year history.

In 2010, as the UARA-STARS Series enters it's ninth season, WP Racing Shocks will become more involved with the series, becoming a contingency sponsor. WP Racing Shocks will offer product/services certificates for the 2010 season to the drivers finishing just outside of the top five and just outside of the top ten. The sixth place finisher will receive a $75.00 Gift Certificate and the eleventh place finisher will receive a $50.00 Gift Certificate.

"We've been a small part of the UARA since 2002 with WP Racing Shocks and as the series has continued to grow and we have to, it's enable us to get involved more," said WP owner, Wesley Page. "For us it's a way to build our brand as well as support the series and it's drivers and teams."

The UARA-STARS Series competitors will certainly benefit from WP Racing Shocks involvement with the series and Series President, Kerry Bodenhamer is excited to have WP Racing Shocks involved.

"WP Racing Shocks has built a great reputation in this business and it seems like everytime one of our racers goes to victory lane, I see Wesley Page down there posing for photos with them," said Bodenhamer. WP Racing Shocks will also have a trailer at selected UARA-STARS Series races this season to further help their current customers as well as develop future customers and give them the trackside support that they need to get "Hooked Up".
