Rockingham, NC(May 15, 2010) -- After loading up and not running the final session of testing just a few weeks ago, Paddy Rodenbeck returned to the Rockingham Speedway today and set fast time in qualifying. Laying down a lap of 25.525 seconds.

Fresh off a fifth place run at the Denny Hamlin Showdown at the Southside Speedway, Brandon McReynolds timed in second with a lap of 25.634 seconds.

After struggling at the open test a month ago, Clint King returned with a solid third place run. He timed in with a 25.695 second lap. Leading the way in the first practice session of the day would be Kyle Grissom. Grissom is coming off a dominating show at the Ace Speedway two weeks ago. Clint King was second, and Paddy Rodenbeck was third.

In the final practice session it was Clint King leading the way, Paddy Rodenbeck second and Coleman Pressley, who is coming off a top twenty run at the Darlington Raceway last week in the Nationwide Series, was third fastest in the final session.

Clay Rogers took the pole in the USAR Pro Cup Series as Rogers was a full three tenths of a second faster than second place Jeff Agnew. Caleb Holman was third. Rogers paced the first practice session of the day. JP Morgan was second and Chase Elliott making his debut in the Pro Cup Series was third. Rookie Elliott paced final practice for the USAR series with Clay Rogers was second and John Gibson was third.

The Sunoco National Tour qualified yesterday. Chase Elliott took home the pole with a lap of 24.578 second. Tanner Berryhill was second with a 24.941 second lap and Brent Downey was third with a 25.162 seconds lap. Chase Elliott would lead every lap of the race taking home the victory with Brian Ortiz and Brent Downey the top three in an unimpressive eight car field.

The UARA-Stars will run 75 laps at 11:00am. Will Paddy Rodenbeck continue his domination at Rockingham this weekend? Will rookie, Clint King score an impressive win? Or will somebody else survive the grueling 75 lap feature and take home the win? Come on out to the Rockingham Speedway and find out tomorrow. Tickets are just $25 and you get not one but two races. The USAR Pro Cup Series will follow the UARA-Stars with their 200 lap event at 1:00 PM.
