Wytheville, VA ~ It seems everybody today is doing some sort of Fantasy Racing League and now RACE22.com has one of it's own that you can participate in too!
The RACE22.com 2009 Fantasy Racing League will kick off this weekend as many of our staff, contributors and supporters will make their picks on the four big "lid lifters" this weekend. This week the races will be the PASS South Series season opener at Dillon Motor Speedway, South Boston Speedway LMSC season opener, Greenville Pickens Speedway LMSC season opener and the UARA-STARS Series season opener at Hickory Motor Speedway.
Participants have to pick one driver from each of the four races this week and from here on out we will have only three races per week(if there is that many races going on, on that particular weekend). The points system will be a "backwards points system" where the participant with the lowest point total at the end will be declared the winner. Points will be given as follows; One point for a 1st place finish, two points for a 2nd place finish and etc.
We've invited some people to join the party and now we're inviting you to join as well. You to can join in on the Fantasy Racing League for 2009 as we have added a "Readers Choice" where anyone can email their picks for the week and the pick for each race with the highest vote total via email will be the "Readers Choice" pick of the week.
In order to have your pick be eligible for each weeks Fantasy Picks, you must pick a driver for each of the races on that week's list. Picks for only a race or two will not be counted, you must pick a driver for all races. If the "Readers Choice" picks win the overall points, then one of the many readers who participated throughout the year will win a prize to be determined later.
