"BoZ" the Fastest in Testing at Bristol Motor Speedway ...
Richard Boswell leads the second and final practice session of the day with a lap of 15.976. Boswell found himself on the other end of the coin last time the series visited the Bristol Motor Speedway when he encountered troubles and was last on the practice sheets before qualifying himself inside the field. Boswell has been one of the hottest competitors in the series thus far this year scoring a second and a couple of third place finishes not to mention the last race when he took the lead late only to get involved in a crash keeping him from getting his first UARA-STARS Series win. Boswell had a lot of competition up front on the practice charts as Alex Yontz found himself as the second fastest driver on Thursday evening with a lap of 16.047. Yontz, who already has a win on the high banked half mile speedplant, is set to go after getting a second place finish in the series first visit of the season to the track a little over a month ago. Wade Day was the first of three non-series regulars to practice fast enough to be among the top ten with his lap of 16.074, but his team
isn't giving up they are looking to be the fastest car on Saturday evening in qualifying.

Tiffany Daniels(04) brought her car out to test at Bristol Motor Speedway as she was expected to make her first UARA-STARS Series start in the Thompson Metal 150. Unfortunately for Daniels she blew an engine early in the practice and as you can see on the photo on the left she(right), her father, Charlie and Kirby Gobble(center) discuss getting her an engine to go racing with. They got the engine back to the track before practice was over, but she'll get her first laps on the engine in Saturday's practice. Cliff Daniels(30) on the other hand had a great car practicing inside the top ten in 8th with a 16.182 ... Daniels last finish at Bristol was a third place finish in only his second career UARA-STARS Series race. Travis Swaim and his team work hard on their race car on Thursday during Bristol testing. Swaim will be making his first Bristol start on Saturday and will be fast according to the practice speeds.
