FDJ Motorsports "Big Race" Power Rankings -- 1 thru 11 CE Falk III has proven that he can win in any race with his 12 wins this season coming on three different tracks and a questionable disqualification coming at a fourth track. His biggest career win came in the Denny Hamlin Foundation race, where he knocked Hamlin himself from the lead on the final lap. The drive and determination is there, but CE hasn't had a lot of success or luck on the Martinsville paperclip. Website Designed, Hosted & Maintained by RACE22.com Website Designed, Hosted & Maintained by RACE22.com Welcome to RACE22.com ... The Home of Late Model Stock Car Racing ... RACE22.com 11th -- CE Falk III #40 Peyton Sellers is a proven winner and although he's never had much success at Martinsville, he's due for a win in a Late Model Stock Car right now and he could use lessons learned at a higher level to elevate him to win the biggest race of the year. Sellers has had a great season racing part time at South Boston Speedway, but has yet to find his way to victory lane and Martinsville could be the right time for a break through. 10th -- Peyton Sellers #83 Brandon Butler knows the deal ... he knows the track, the cars and the competition and he has shown in past seasons that he can be a very good threat to win even as recently as last season. Butler had one of the best cars a year ago in the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300, but a late race crash took his chances of winning away, but the veteran isn't about to give up and could very well get his first grandfather clock this weekend. 8th -- Brandon Butler #29 Lee Pulliam has never even made the field for the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville, but that hasn't stopped him from ripping off some of the fastest laps ever laid down on the half mile track. Pulliam was the fastest man in both test sessions, by a good margin and when time comes for the race he feels he has a great car for the long runs too, but he's first got to set his sights on just making the field. 9th -- Lee Pulliam #3 Jamey Caudill hasn't been the same Jamey Caudill this season, but make no mistake about it, the veteran driver is still as good as he ever was and when it comes to Martinsville, you can never count him out. This season he's struggled to compete and even finish races running a limited schedule, but in testing two weeks ago he showed that he's still got a little juice in his tank as he looks for Late Model win #98 on Sunday. 4th -- Jamey Caudill #50 Matt DiBenedetto may well have not driven a Late Model Stock Car all season long, but don't forget it's "Guido" we're talking about. He's probably driven as much this season testing for Joe Gibbs Racing and competing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series than he would have if he was LMSC racing and he's primed and ready to go as the only driver to finish in the top ten the last three seasons at Martinsville. 5th -- Matt DiBenedetto #20 Matt McCall is one of the best Late Model Stock Car drivers ever and one of the biggest things missing from his collection of trophies is a Martinsville grandfather clock. McCall, who is now racing out the ultra-successful Fat Head Racing stables has his best shot ever at winning this race, but his engine program hasn't been the best over the last year and that might kill his chances come Sunday. 6th -- Matt McCall #23 7th -- Wayne Ramsey #42 Many people would point to Justin Johnson as the lead car of the FDJ Motorsports stables, but Wayne Ramsey is no slouch and he's not ready to play second fiddle to anyone. Ramsey led laps in this race three years ago and had a chance to win this race and that's something none of his FDJ teammates can say. Ramsey also had a big smile on his face at the last test and that might not be good for everyone else. Alex Yontz has his racing career back on track. After a season of being disqualified, strip searched and labeled a cheater with Dave Dunlap, Yontz is out of that situation and now has his sights on redeeming himself in the biggest race of them all. He's back with Jay Hedgecock and Rayvon Clark, the same combination that he took to victory lane just three years ago. Many may have wrote this young man off, but he's back and ready to show everyone that he hasn't gone anywhere! 1st -- Alex Yontz Dennis Setzer and the Long Brothers race team didn't seem to have their stuff together last season struggling in races all over the region and never really in contention for the win at Martinsville last fall. But, wait ... turn the page to 2010 ... The Long's took Jamey Caudill to test in a race at Motor Mile and even showed up on time to both test sessions at Martinsville and that doesn't look good for the competition. 2nd -- Dennis Setzer #2 3rd -- Philip Morris #26 Philip Morris ... Love him, hate him, cuss him or praise him, but he's still one of the greatest Late Model Stock Car drivers of all time. Although this season he was a little off, he's found a way to bring himself back to the forefront. When he wasn't as good as he thought he should be, he went to find more buying into the operation of the guys beating him and now he says he's got "the best car he's ever had at Martinsville".
