Limited Late Model Power Rankings Fall 2010 -- 1 thru 11

11th -- Chris Chapman(18)

Chris Chapman hasn't been breaking through into victory lane lately, but he is the points leader in the SouthEast Limited Late Models on the heels of two third place finishes and a sixth place effort in the first three races of the season.  Chris is sitting in the catbirds seat as the series comes to a climax in the season finale this week at Myrtle Beach Speedway.

10th -- Austin McDaniel(n/r)

Austin McDaniel was on fire to end the 2010 season at Hickory Motor Speedway, nearly completely quieting the season long dominator, Dexter Canipe, Jr.  It was a coming out season for the former Legends racer as he put himself on the map at Hickory and even picked up the win in the biggest Limited race there this year in the SouthEast Limited Series race, but not traveling keeps this youngster from climbing this list.

9th -- Kenny Bost(8)

Kenny Bost has no problem winning races ... in fact the only problems he has is passing technical inspection, but as you may already know from our Late Model Power Rankings, we don't hold that against him.  Kenny is a strong competitor, who has wins on several tracks this season including Ace and Bowman Gray and that's against some of the best Limiteds anywhere.

Drivers at Dillon and Florence Speedway's don't get a whole lot of respect from us when it comes to the Power Rankings, but maybe they should.  And, this time they're getting it ... Michael Elliott is one of the best Limited Late Model racers in South Carolina and the only reason he doesn't climb this list is that he rarely travels north to compete in the bigger Limited races, but I expect him to be good at Myrtle Beach this weekend.

8th -- Michael Elliott(n/r)

7th -- Mack Little(19)

Mack Little didn't get our respect in the last edition of the Limited Late Model Power Rankings, but after all as Mack points out, most of his wins this season came in the Sportsman division at Caraway and not the Limiteds.  However in the inaugural Limited race at North Wilkesboro, he went to victory lane after dominating the race and then picked up a win at Ace as well, which moves him up the list this time.

6th -- Boo Boo Dalton(11)

Ross "Boo Boo" Dalton is the real deal ... he's one of the best young Limited Late Model competitors anywhere and he proved it this season with multiple wins at Ace and Caraway Speedway.  He also vaulted himself to the championship in the Limiteds at Ace with some stellar end of season performances.  Boo Boo is an up and comer and if he stays in Limiteds he'll be atop this list before it's over with.

5th -- Averitt Lucas(n/r)

Averitt Lucas has been the man this season at Florence Motor Speedway with eleven wins on the tough 4/10 mile track.  He also had a win stripped from him in tech at Dillon Motor Speedway in the biggest race of the year there.  Averitt will be a contender, no matter where he races at, but he needs to travel a little more to get more respect from us.

4th -- Roger Parrish, Jr.(13)

Roger Parrish, Jr. is getting it done after a short hiatus from victory lane this season at Motor Mile, when he was caught with illegal shocks.  Toward the end of the season he got it back together and picked up some wins at Motor Mile and also picked up a win in the season finale at Franklin County Speedway, which vaulted him on the list here this week.

3rd -- Jesse Little(n/r)

Jesse Little burst onto the scene here toward the end of the season and while his Late Model debut wasn't all that impressive at Ace last week, his Limited races has the kid on fire.  Jesse is a hard-nose little racer and has proved that no matter where he goes he'll contend for the win and maybe even win it.  He already has a win at Ace in the SouthEast Series race and ran strong in every other start.

2nd -- Danny Willis, Jr.(2)

Danny Willis, Jr. has proven he's one of the best Limited Late Model racers ever and he continues that with another win at Orange County Speedway at the end of the season.  Danny has won and been in contention everywhere he's raced and he could vault to the top of this list with a win in the SouthEast Limited finale at Myrtle Beach Speedway this weekend.

1st -- Gary Ledbetter(1)

Gary Ledbetter ... There's not really that much I have to say about him as all his competitors know that if he's there, they will have to beat him and he will be in contention.  Another great thing about Gary is that he's a hard-nosed competitor and won't take anyone's crap and he will dish out just as much as he gets.  He's still in contention for the SouthEast Limited championship and he could very well leave Myrtle Beach with the title.
