Long Day at Martinsville Ends in 18th

Martinsville, VA(October 5, 2009) -- Andy Loden's journey to Martinsville was a continuation of a struggling season where he has had little to no luck as the veteran driver missed the show in qualifying and had to run a heat race to make the field for the Bailey's 300, our country's biggest Late Model Stock Car race.
Loden however made a strong showing in the heat race by winning it from a ninth place start and put himself in the show.  Loden's journey continued in the feature as he made up a lot of ground moving into the top 25 quickly, but was involved in several incidents not of his own doing and would finish 18th in the end.
